A WORLD OF
DRUMS
A 45-minute to 1-hour informative and entertaining
survey of hand drums and drumming styles from around
the globe (including India, Africa, and the Middle
East). This engaging presentation includes numerous
short performances on a variety of world percussion
instruments, each prefaced by a description of the
instrument's construction and cultural context. The
presentation can be followed by an optional Q&A.
